Make SURE you have a restore point created every day !

If it is not set to do one automatically, you must create one yourself!

If you are not using Windows XP or an operating system that provides this feature, Look into getting a program such as Go Back, that will allow you to create restoration points and restore your system if needed.

Click on the "Start" button.

Click on "Programs" or "All Programs".

Click on "Accessories".

Click on "System Tools".

Click on "System Restore".

Click on "Create Restore Point".

Type a brief description indicating when you created the point and what had just been done. It is a good idea to create a new point after doing a "Safe Mode Defrag" so the systems is in good runninig order. That way if you must restore, everything will be working well.

Click on "Create".

Click on "Close".

Now you have a good point to restore to if you have problems loading a program or have a crash, power failure, etc..
